Assistant Director, Physical and Cultural Regeneration, Medway Council
Dawn joined Medway Council as Assistant Director Physical and Cultural Regeneration in December 2018, leading on a number of services that contribute to Medway’s ambitious regeneration and place making agenda.
Prior to this she was at Maidstone Borough and Canterbury City Councils and has also worked in the private sector.
She is passionate about putting culture, arts and heritage at the heart of place making and believes it is critical to align economic strategy with the planning agenda to deliver growth for all.
Dawn is also a Director of the Institute for Economic Development representing economic development and regeneration practitioners.
Attendees will hear about Medway’s exciting vision to create a Waterfront University City: connecting innovation people and place; driving growth for all. Medway’s ambitious regeneration vision is encapsulated in six priorities, each promoting wellbeing, inclusivity and growth for all. Pursuit of these themes will ensure no adult or child is left behind as we head towards the outstanding Medway of the future. The six priorities are:
