Kent-based company takes full control of UK’s largest regional B2B event: Kent 2020 Vision LIVE.
Revolution Events have announced their acquisition of the Kent 2020 Vision portfolio of events and information services, after successfully managing the events on contract for the past four years.
The move will ensure the long-term future of the UK’s largest regional B2B event, Kent 2020 Vision LIVE, which is on track to bring together over 3,200 visitors and 300 exhibitors for a busy day of networking and new business opportunities on Wednesday 13th May 2015.

Revolution Events won the contract to organise the event in 2011, with the challenge of turning it into a product that could deliver a high level of value to the Kent business community without requiring an annual subsidy from its previous owner, the community interest company BSK-CiC. Since that time, the annual Spring event has grown in size and sophistication and the Kent 2020 brand has expanded to include specialist shows for start-up businesses and marketing professionals, supported by a regular blog, Youtube channel and other complementary services.
Much of Kent 2020’s success is due to its long-term links with Kent County Council, The KM Group and the Kent Event Centre, plus additional support from innovative local companies such as Lavender Blue Media, Zoodikers and Facts International.
All current partners have confirmed their enthusiastic support for the events under the new ownership of Revolution Events, who they have grown to know well over the past four years. Chris Callander, who helped to manage the events as BSK’s Commercial Director, will also continue to work with Revolution in an independent capacity.
