The wettest April for over 100 years did little to dampen spirits at this year’s Kent 2020 Vision LIVE – the largest business-to-business event in South East England, run in conjunction with Kent County Council, The KM Group and the Kent Event Centre.
With visitor registrations increasing by 10% and well over 300 companies exhibiting, 2012 was widely felt to be the most successful event yet – indicating a bright future for this important date in the Kent business calender. Exhibitor feedback was especially positive this year, with stand-holders reporting a significant rise in the quality of leads and on-the-day sales.
As a clear indication of the general mood of optimism surrounding the event, nearly three-quarters of this year’s visitors are expecting to see business growth over the next 12 months, with more than a third of these predicting growth of over 20%.
There were also prizes galore for a number of lucky winners on 19th April:
- Simon Robinson from Character Creations won the coveted iPad 2 in the special prize draw for pre-registered visitors
- The Best Stand prize was awarded to UPG Print Group for their excellent display on the day
- Sue Davis from Design Advantage won a package of marketing services worth over £2,000
Special kudos goes to the last of these winners, Sue Davis, who was the only visitor to successfully complete all thirteen clueson the QR Code Treasure Hunt. Sue’s hard-earned prize included a social media makeover, advertising in The KM, a ticket to this year’s KEiBA Awards, a comprehensive branding & SEO review, a year’s membership of her local Sports Business Club and a stand at our brand new event for new start-up businesses: Kent 2020 Vision Start-Up LIVE, scheduled for Thursday 24th October 2012.
