We were delighted to welcome a special guest today, when we had a visit from Kevin Lynes, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development at Kent County Council.
Kevin visited Hawkwell Barn in Pembury to meet our team, see the offices we converted from a derelict farm building and speak to other co-tenants in the building: Alderwick Consulting and Enara Countrycare.
One of the main topics of conversation was the extremely patchy broadband service around Kent and the way this is constraining economic growth. We were extremely impressed to hear that Kent County Council has secured tens of millions of pounds of central government funding to dramatically improve broadband service across our county – but only IF enough businesses and households register their interest in an improved service.
To help make this happen, please spare a few moments of your time to join the campaign online at:
Then please help to spread the word by telling as many people in Kent as possible – in both commercial premises and residential properties. Otherwise, we will all miss out and the funds will be allocated elsewhere!
