Need expert advice on winning tenders, tackling late payments, sustainability or the UK economy? Attend one of our special briefings when you visit Kent Vision LIVE on Wednesday 11th May.
If you’re planning to join over 3,000 businesses at next week’s Kent Vision LIVE, make sure you check out the FREE Business Update sessions from the Institute of Directors, STA International, KCC Low Carbon Kent and Hawksafe, providing expert insights into the outlook for the UK economy, tackling late payments from your customers, funding sustainability and winning new tenders.
Four 30-minute briefings run all through the afternoon, starting at 12.45pm when Karl Hague from STA International looks at the causes, effects, prevention and cure for the issue of late payment. Karl will provide a step-by-step guide to credit management best practices, highlighting changes in late payment legislation and what options are available when in-house efforts don’t work.
Then at 1.45pm, you can join The IoD’s economic analyst Michael Martins for the inside track on the current state of the UK economy and its future outlook. Using the latest data, this session will analyse how the UK’s economy has changed since the 2008 financial crisis and show how this relates this to the state of the global economy.
Following the IoD at 2.30pm, KCC Low Carbon Kent will be explaining the range of grants and loans available from Kent County Councilto help Kent businesses become more sustainable – including a grant of up to £10,000 available to spend on either energy efficiency measures or business development costs.
Finally, at 3.15pm you can find out how to win more tenders with the right approach to Health & Safety, from experienced specialists at Hawksafe. Competent health, safety and environment advice can save time and effort when completing long and laborious Pre Contract Questionnaires, PQQs and tender documentation – and a good partnership in this area will help you to win new business and new clients.
These four Business Update briefings are just one strand in a free information-packed programme that covers everything from effective marketing, customer service and business technology, to starting a new business, funding growth and building a high-performing team. Plus a unique showcase of innovative B2B suppliers at South East’s largest B2B exhibition and a myriad of networking opportunities through the day.
