With the sun shining brightly up at the Kent Event Centre, the final preparations are well underway for tomorrow’s Kent 2020 Vision LIVE, which promises to be the best yet as new owners Revolution Events take the helm for the 10th Anniversary show.
With a free exhibition showcasing 300 leading suppliers from across the South East and more than thirty free keynotes and workshops running throughout the day, this year’s Kent 2020 will be the largest regional business event in the UK and expects to attract well over 3,000 attendees from organisations of all shapes and sizes.
Keynote speakers include the founder of Gü Puds James Averdieck, global futurist Rohit Talwar and the Leader of Kent County Council Paul Carter, while free workshops focus on key challenges such as social media, online marketing, leadership and customer satisfaction. This year’s seminar programme also includes four streams of focused workshops for some of the county’s most important sectors: Manufacturing, Construction, Retail and Travel & Tourism.
To celebrate the event’s tenth anniversary, special events and prize draws will be taking place throughout the day and this year’s finalists for the prestigious Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBA) will be announced at 1pm by Mark Dance, Cabinet Member for Regeneration & Economic Development at Kent County Council.
Rich Tribe, Joint Managing Director at Revolution Events says “This week’s Kent 2020 will be the first one to run under the new ownership of Revolution Events and we are expecting it to be the best event yet, with more exhibitors and attendees than ever before. After managing the event on contract for the last four years, we are delighted to have taken full control of this key platform for doing business in the county and look forward to some exciting times ahead as we keep adding more value every year.”
Since its first outing in 2006, the event has gone from strength-to-strength, evolving and growing to become a major business opportunity for the Kent business community – thanks largely to the unique partnership between Kent County Council, The KM Group and the Kent Event Centre.
